MAMA ELEPHANT - SANTA'S FRIENDS

Hello friends!

I’m back again today with a card for the Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight, and this time we’re featuring the Santa's Friends stamp set. 

This festive clear stamp set features their iconic cuties dressed in seasonal gear as they lend Santa a helping hand. From riding along in his sleigh to zipping around in the whimsical reindeer-mobile, these playful designs are perfect for creating merry and magical holiday projects.

For my card, I focused only on the Santa's Friends stamp set. I stamped the images on Copic-friendly paper, colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out with the matching Santa's Friends Creative Cuts.

To complete the design, I used the Postcard Combo Creative Cuts as my panel card, giving everything a cozy postcard-style look. And here’s the finished result—I just love how these adorable friends bring so much warmth and festive cheer to the card!

MAMA ELEPHANT - LIL CHRISTMAS DOCKET

Happy Wednesday, Crafty friends! 

I’m so excited to be back today sharing a new project for the Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight featuring the adorable Lil Christmas Docket stamp set.

Now, you might be wondering—what does “Docket” mean? In this collection, it’s a beautifully curated set of small stamps that are designed to work seamlessly together. They’re perfect for quick projects, layering, and little embellishments that bring big joy! This first holiday-themed set has all the festive favorites—Santa, elves, reindeer, snow friends, and even Mr. Yeti. Truly a merry little lineup!

I started by preparing my card panel. Using the Postcard Combo Creative Cuts, I die-cut a rectangle frame twice—once from blue polka dot paper and once from grey cardstock—then layered and assembled them to create the look I wanted.

For the images, I stamped them with Shachihata Ink in Black on Copic-friendly paper, colored them with my trusty Copic markers, and cut them out with the square die from the Docket Lil Card Envelope - Creative Cuts. To give them that extra charm, I framed each one with a small postage frame.

Once everything was ready, I arranged all the little elements on the card. The sentiment “HO HO HO” comes from the Mini Messages Stamp, while the sweet “May Your Days Be Merry and Bright” is from the Very Merry Sentiments Stamp. I also tucked in the tiny Christmas tree from the Bright City Stamp to tie it all together.

As a finishing touch, I couldn’t resist creating tiny mini cards to tuck inside the main card. These are so fun to make and add such a personal surprise for the recipient. I used the Lil Christmas Docket Stamp, Docket Lil Card Envelope - Creative Cuts, Mini Merry Messages Stamp, and Round Tag Wishes Stamp to complete the little collection you see in the photos.

They’re like mini treasures—perfect for gift tags, quick notes, or just to spread a little extra joy this holiday season.

MAMA ELEPHANT - JOY TO THE WORLD

Hello friends!

I’m back today with a card for the Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight featuring the Joy to the World stamp set.

This beautiful clear stamp set is all about the bold, handwritten “Joy to the World” sentiment by Paola, which makes such a stunning centerpiece for holiday cards. Along with it, you’ll also find a variety of smaller coordinating sentiments like “Joy to you and me!” and “Live, Laugh, and be Joyful.” These give you endless mix-and-match options when creating festive projects.

For my card, I paired the big sentiment with some fun little square images from the Lil Christmas Docket set. I tested out different inks for these images, including Memento Cocoa, Memento Black, Shachihata Black & Brown, and Shachihata Grey. Each one gives a slightly different feel. The Shachihata grey creates a soft look, almost like no-line coloring, which makes the finished coloring appear more hand-drawn and gentle—just perfect for these sweet Christmas images.

After stamping, I colored the images with my Copic markers, then die-cut them and framed them using the postage frame from Postcard Combo Creative Cuts.

Once everything was ready, I assembled the card with the large Joy to the World sentiment as the main focus. To frame the design, I added a big bow from the Take a Bow Creative Cuts, which gives it such a festive finishing touch.

I love how this card came together—simple but full of holiday cheer!
